Since we are the 'new kids on the block' here in the Windy City, we wanted to give a shout out to the local blogs who are our inspiration and who we hope to learn a lot from :)  Of course, there are soooo many amazing Chicago wedding blogs out there and choosing just 10 was near impossible ... This will definitely be a repost in the near future :)  For now, please help us in celebrating these Perfect 10 Chicago wedding blogs (which are in no particular order ... we love them all the same and for different reasons)!  Starting with...

1. Lola Event Productions Blog:  If you want to learn from 35 years of experience while you are planning one of the most important days of your life, take a trip over to this blog ... Our favorite portion of their blog?  They have a section called Tips from the LOLA pros, which includes a link to check the weather forecast for your big day :)
2. Scarlet Petal Blog:  If you are like us and you {LOVE} flowers, but don't know a bunch about them ... except that they smell delicious and look pretty fabulous ... you'll want to tune into this blog!  With everything from sharing photos of their own designs to the history of artistic design ... this blog gives you indepth knowledge to the world of petals.  Tweet them here!
3. Engaging Events by Ali Blog:  When we think of all the {AMAZING} wedding industry leaders out there, it's nice to know that one of them lives right here in Chicago ... Ali Phillips of Engaging Events by Ali.  This woman does it all ... and when she's done with that, she does it all again.  From speaking at national wedding conferences to planning local Chicago weddings, this is someone we can all learn something from!  Tweet her here!
4. Chennergy:  Around here, exceptional photos are our thing ... we love to look at them, dream about them, blog about them ... you get the point ... When we launched in Chicago, we were pretty darn excited that Dan Chen is a local photog legend and that (hopefully) we'd be showcasing his work :)  His blog will give you {HOURS} of visual thrills and never skimps on the eye-candy. 
5. The Third Coast Bride:  All you have to do is read this blogger's motto and you'll know why this is a great place for Chicago wedding planning inspiration:  The Third Coast Bride is a Midwest gal's guide to wedding planning. The goal of the Third Coast Bride is to show that Midwest brides can be as chic and elegant as their LA and NYC counterparts!  Tweet her here!
6. Elizabeth Anne Designs Blog:  Here is an example of another national wedding blogging legend that shares her insite from the Windy City (isn't Chicago lucky!?!) ... Ami Price of Elizabeth Anne Designs.  If choices are what you're after, this blog has it in the bag for you ... from an online library filled with categorized links, to vendor reviews, this blog will give you tons of great spots to click while you are busy planning your wedding day.  Tweet her here!
7. It's a Jaime Thing:  Here are some reasons to visit this rad blog ... True Blood Inspired Bridal Style, Bridal Caffeine, and giveaways that include a Kate Spade handbag ... Have we convinced you now?!?  :)  Tweet her here!
8. Honey Bee Weddings Blog:  While you are a busy little bee buzzing around planning your wedding, take a moment (or a few hours) to stop and smell the roses at this blog ... we promise you won't regret it!!  Marilyn and Misse are local Chicago wedding coordinators and really know their stuff!!  In fact, Misse first knew she was meant for this fabulous industry at the age of 5, when she first walked the aisle as a flower girl ... Ahhhhh!!!
9. Olivia Leigh Photographie Blog:  Olivia, Olivia, Olivia ... There!  We just named 3 reasons to visit this blog ;)  Seriously though??  If gorgeous photos, intriguing stories, and inspiring real weddings are up your alley, this is a blog to stalk on a weekly basis!  Tweet her here!
10. Allori Photography Blog: Just take a trip over to our real weddings page and you'll see that we adore Eric O'Connor's work ...
